Built for love

The AP MotoArts FZ-07 R was built for love: love of racing; love of the lightweight twins class; and the love of beautiful things.

Andy Palmer, the 'AP' of AP MotoArts and the guru behind the FZ-07 R, has been a racer and bike-builder in Southern California since 2002. He's built and raced some of the fastest SV650 motorcycles in the world. His bikes hold lap records on most of the tracks in the Western United States. However, the days of the SV are fading. And with them, lightweight racing as well.

Until now...

In 2015, Yamaha introduced the FZ-07 and Palmer had a new canvas to paint on. It took long hours to develop the right parts to take a dedicated street bike and make it into a legitimate GP-inspired racing machine.

With amazing performance and beautiful styling, the FZ-07 R isn't just a replacement for the last generation of lightweight twins, it's revolutionizing the class and bringing riders from all displacements to join the fun.

Once you ride it, you'll love it, too.
